Hi and welcome to my very first post! I’m excited to share my journey of weight loss and mental wellbeing with you.
Remember when the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020, and we all had to adjust to working from home and spending most of our time indoors? That was a life-changing experience, and I’m still feeling its effects.
Before the pandemic, I was content with my body and my mental health was in a good place. I went to the gym regularly, and weight gain never seemed like a concern for me. However, the impact of COVID caught me off guard, leading to unwanted changes in my body and mental state.
During this time, I struggled to control my eating habits and found myself constantly worrying about the future. As things began to ease up, I made the decision to return to the gym with the goal of losing weight. I went back to my routine of lifting weights, just like when I felt my best.
However, I soon realized that my body wasn’t responding as I had hoped. Instead of losing fat, I gained more weight! I consistently worked out for about two years, but I didn’t see the results I wanted.
Discipline! Discipline!!

Eventually, I switched things up. I started taking daily 5km walks and focused on eating smaller, mostly clean portions, allowing myself the occasional treat. This new approach took time to show effects, but my persistence paid off.
Walking became a game changer for me. I lost facial weight and gradually shed body fat, which made a significant difference.
Your body is your most priceless possession, take care of it.

This journey has taught me the importance of consistency, dedication, and discipline. It’s especially challenging when you’re surrounded by others who aren’t focused on weight loss, as it’s easy to lose motivation.
Thank you for joining me on this journey! I look forward to sharing more insights and strategies as we explore the path to better health together.
